This conference will help you as a pastor or ministry leader know how to best navigate the unique times we are serving by providing clarity on isssues that pertain to the church and state.
Lou Campomenosi, Ph.D, a twenty-year Marine and current adjuct professor of political science at Tulane University will be speaking along with retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and constitutional attorney John Eidsmoe. Colonel Eidsmoe, the author of 13 books, has also served as Senior Staff Attorney with the Alabama Supreme Court and is currently Legal Counsel for the Foundation for Moral Law. Together they will help us answer some of the following questions:
*How do God's two kingdoms, Church and State, relate to each other?
* Does Caesar have authority to tax God, or His Church?
* What does "substantially" influencing legislation mean?
* May a pastor endorse a candidate even if his church does not?
* What can my church or pastor do politically without jeopardizing our tax-exempt status?
* Is it ever appropriate for a church or pastor to defy the IRS?
